Validity and Reliability of Turkish Version of Skills Confidence Inventory

The Vocational Interest Inventory is one of the most commonly used instruments in career counselling past and present. aim this study to adapt Skills Confidence (SCI) obtain validity reliability evidence for its Turkish version. SCI version called BGMIE (Becerilere Güven Mesleki Ilgi Envanteri) a list vocational interests consisting 164 items measuring 17 different areas interests. In study, data were collected from 32 university students linguistic equivalence test, 765 high school pretest, 1449 final test. was examined using bilingual group, equivalence, CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) scores. results analyses indicate perfect fit nine factors (Creative Production, Cultural Sensitivity, Data Management, Helping, Leadership, Office Services, Public Speaking, Science, Teamwork), good seven (Mechanics, Organisational Project Sales, Teaching, Use Technology, Writing), an acceptable factor (Mathematics).
